Year 5 Selective Foundation Course
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Term 1 of Year 5 Selective Testing is called the Selective Foundation Course.
The Selective Foundation Course is designed to acquaint students with various
question types found in the Selective Placement Test.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT TEST QUESTIONS
Each week, Mr. Paul will lead students through the intricacies of these questions,
enabling them to discern the question's true intent, approach it effectively, and
employ the best strategy for solving it.
GUIDED LEARNING
The questions cover a spectrum from Mathematical Reasoning to Thinking Skills and Reading. Mr. Paul meticulously composes each week's worksheet, providing comprehensive strategies and sample questions to guide the students. Subsequently, students will be empowered to independently tackle questions, applying their knowledge and pinpointing areas where improvement is needed.
It's important to note that there is no assigned homework for this Selective Foundation Course.
This guided course is specifically crafted to serve as an introduction to the Selective Placement Test.
